BEFORE OUR ARRIVAL
1. PET PREPARATION
✅ All pets must be treated for fleas with veterinarian-approved flea medication on or before the day of service.
✅ Wash all pet bedding, blankets, and soft toys in hot water and dry on high heat.
✅ Remove all pets, including cats, dogs, birds, and small animals, from the home before treatment.
✅ Cover fish tanks and turn off air pumps to prevent exposure.
2. CLEANING & VACUUMING
✅ Vacuum all carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, and pet resting areas, especially along baseboards and under furniture.
✅ Dispose of the vacuum bag or empty the canister into a sealed plastic bag and take it outside immediately.
✅ Sweep and mop hard floors, including tile, hardwood, and vinyl, to remove flea eggs and larvae.
✅ Remove clutter, including laundry, pet toys, and other loose items, from floors and under furniture.
3. WASHING FABRICS & BEDDING
✅ Wash all bedding, linens, and curtains in hot water and dry on high heat.
✅ If fleas have been found in bedrooms, vacuum mattresses and box springs thoroughly.
4. OUTDOOR PREPARATION (if applicable)
✅ Mow the lawn and remove leaf piles, grass clippings, and debris where fleas can hide.
✅ Keep pets off treated areas until the recommended time given by your technician.
5. ACCESS & SAFETY
✅ Plan to vacate the home for at least 4 hours after treatment (or longer if advised).
✅ Ensure all doors and areas of infestation are accessible to the technician.
✅ If you live in an apartment or multi-unit building, notify your neighbors to prevent reinfestation.
AFTER THE TREATMENT
✔️ Do not vacuum, mop, or clean treated areas for 48 hours to allow the product to work.
✔️ You may see flea activity for up to two weeks—this is normal as fleas come into contact with the treatment.
✔️ Continue vacuuming daily for at least two weeks to remove dead fleas and eggs.
✔️ Wash pet bedding regularly to prevent reinfestation.
✔️ Schedule any recommended follow-up treatments to break the flea lifecycle.
